Although the UEMS Enlarged Executive Committee had hoped to be able to hold the 2021 edition of the conference live in Seville, it has considered the situation regarding COVID-19 very carefully and, while there seems to be light at the end of the tunnel, have concluded that it is still too early to hold a live meeting in Seville on 12-13th March 2021. Travel is still very much restricted and vaccination programmes will take a few months to roll out to a point where our daily lives could slowly go back to normal. Moreover holding a meeting for 250-300 persons will not be allowed surely for the first half of 2021.

For these reasons the Executive Committee has decided the following:

• The 2-day live meeting will be replaced by a half day virtual meeting under the form of a webinar to be held on Friday 12th March 2021 (from 14.00 to 16.30 CET). The topic of the webinar will be EACCME: facing the COVID challenge and beyond.There will be a 50 € fee (VAT excl.) charged to attend this virtual event.
• The live meeting in Seville is postponed to 11-12th March 2022.
