The European Network of Gastrointestinal Pathology (ENGIP) which was established in March 2012 by members of the Working Group of Digestive Diseases of the European Society of Pathology (ESP) with the purpose to get a route for dissemination of relevant information such as society information, guidelines, consensus documents, courses, grants etc. in the field of gastrointestinal pathology.

ENGIP is a non-profit organization and works as a network for communication rather than a formal society. Member fees are not taken. To become a member you only need to be a practicing pathologist (M.D.).
